I'm just an easy going guy from mid-coast Maine that fell into the hair business. After ten years of doing hair and feeling more passion than ever for what I do, I'm pumped to do what I love in a place of my own.

My passion is hair color; multidimensional, shiny, healthy color. I love to work with the Balayage/hair painting technique. I have been in the industry for nine years and absolutely love what I do. I am constantly inspired to further educate myself in order to stay ahead of the trends. I am also an educator, available for in and out of salon classes.

A background in film and photography led me to doing hair, and for the past 7 years I've bounced around from salon to salon. At Trephin, I finally feel like I can sit still, breathe, and really be an artist again. As an in-salon educator working with such great talented people, I'm excited to see what the future of Trephin has in store for me.

I can't remember ever wanting to do anything else. It's been twenty years and I still love to do hair. From Boston to New York and back again, I have learned so many invaluable things. This leg of my hair tour as a color specialist and salon owner is truly as good as it gets.

I've always enjoyed working with my hands. I knew that my creativity needed to flow freely from me every day. Cutting and styling hair has allowed this to happen.
